The inner 1/2 will be covered and roofing materials. The outer half will have 10 2x4's on end with matching bevel all in redwood. Oil base primer with top rated latex paint.

New... 757's been around over 30 years. Very fine aeroplane, though. Been in triple 7's, never werked on one. Didn't care for the big planes, pita to reach so many parts. Majority of my on-airframe time was DC9's, but got time on several from twin turboprop to DC10's. Did longer on component shop repair on a bunch of types. Glad an Airbus will never get near me again, hated those things. What airline for those Boeings you're werkin on?
I agree with you on Airbus. Seems like everyone hates 'em... We've got quite a few A300's and A310's... Let's just say, "they're being phased out", and good riddance to 'em! Twins are the stuff, as long as they are Boeing... The only non-twins left in the fleet are a few DC10-30's and a few MD11's...
I don't think that I can mention the A/L I work for on an open forum, but I can say that "we don't fly people"... At this point, after 33 years there, I'm a salary guy, in the A/C parts end of A/C Mx...
When I was in ATL, one of Delta's training hangars was directly across the street from us. They had a gorgeous DC3 sitting out front...

Hadda gully washer day, and the cable went out early evening. At least it came back in a few hours, last week it was the rest of the day.
Put new pads on the van's rear brakes yesterday, metal was just touching on the top edge of two pads, just starting to put a shiny line on the disk. Got my money's worth outta them. One of the caliper pin holes in the big casting that everything attaches to was stripped, thought I was in for a misery time, but when I checked online to see if the nearest parts place had one, they had something I never heard of; an oversized self tapping pin. Soooo much easier. Werked great, only you don't wanna just drive one in with a wrench, every 1 1/2 - 2 turns it'd seize up, so I'd gently turn it back and forth a bit, occasionally pull it out and clean it, and eventually got it down flush. some loctite, looks like a winner. Was afraid I'd hafta drill, tap, and put in a helicoil, and not much room to do it. Sumbody hadda real neat idea with that pin.

Got the bike washed, the erl changed, now I just gotta get my tires changed and pack and I am good to go. The cords are getting a leetle close to the surface. If I hit rain there might be a lack of traction.
