Morning all, little chilly this morning but the sun was out so I threw on the leathers and putted in. Widened the drive way this weekend OL work me to death. Then I rose from the dead to come to work.

I must have worked at least half the major holidays, one of the downsides to a 24/7 operation. Did a lot of Christmases. Holidays have just been a day off for me; till my daughter got old enough to understand, I often volunteered for Christmas, 4 of July, etc, so a family guys with less seniority could take it (in a seniority based system, that makes you one of the better liked older guys, too). Also, with the old union contracts (that went away over a decade ago), you got time and a half on top of your holiday pay, usually more than enough to pay for some nice gifts in one day.
