Coffee got delayed this mornin, just sat down here with a cup, and... it tastes weird. Sumptin wrong, never tasted like this before. Hope this ain't a harbinger of how the day goes.

Sun's showing today, been a long time. Cold and damp yesterday, left the mower in the shed, might get it out today. Weekends suck for getting things done, never alone then. People time can be ok, but I really like my alone time, too.

That's what folks said when I lived in Arizona. Was good if you were working outside, but awful for bike riding. Hadda wear long sleeve shirts, gloves, helmet, and put the wimpshield back on in the summers, that oven blast was hell on skin; faster you went, hotter it felt. Ridden in 100+ in high humidity, and it's cooler the faster you go. AZ is one of the best states for winter riding, but I'd prefer Arkansas in the summer - as long as I could get into air conditioning when I got off the bike...

Sick time is insurance. I was on it for a month without running out, cause I didn't abuse it. Knew guys that seldom got a week ahead, and were in trouble when they got sick or hurt, no money coming in for a while; funny how some guys that don't accumulate sick time don't have savings, either. At least we had workers' comp for job injuries, got a month on that, too, but anything off the job is on your dime. Most folks tend to need it more as they get older, too.

We don't get sick time here, but I do have 2 different Aflac policies that I pay $40 a month for. It don't matter whether I get hurt at work or while riding my motorcycle there will be money coming in. $480 dollars a year ain't squat when you consider how much you could loose being off work.

Yea. I had Aflac at my other gig but never got to use it. No insurance or sick time there. 8 years and never took a day off for being sick. Had some shitty days I had to come in though. Thats life. Ive used a few days here. Used 7 when I crashed my bike. That was nice.

Sick days are not to be used when sick, or when you crash a Harley. Sick days are to used when the sun is shining, the fish are biting, or when the shine is cookin!!

Seems that way around here. 90% of them seem to be used on Mondays or Fridays....
