Yeah, that's an old old story....."I heard a little noise, so I shut it right down.......Dropped the pan,and the camshaft was in there in about 6 pieces!!!!
HTF did the cam wind up in the oil pan!!!!!!!!

$400 bucks for a balanced replacement. Thank god it is a 2 piece drive line. Tranny tail shaft woulda been pricy!

worked with a couple Girl burners/welders/fitters, thru the years

Once again I have been out perusing the forums within this website. 
I really don't know why.....other than I'm bored.
Some of the stuff I read out there just leaves me speechless.
as I read some of the topics and comments it becomes exceedingly clear why our country is in the shape it is.
If this is an example of a good cross section of America, we're in a heap of trouble.

Checkin' in...turned out to be a great day for ridin', sunny mid 70's. Back country roads along the Delaware river. Crossed back and forth into NewJersey so many times at one point wasn't sure what state we were in.
