Hidin in my office for a minute. 97* out there. 21% humidity.

 

If the farmers need more water they can come drain my garden.

 

Had a gal come into our shop when I was in the Army. Had to take down all the fun calendars, watch our language, etc. She was a radio repairman, but she didn't like to carry the radios. She always asked me to carry them for her (I was the shop clerk at the time), but I always told her that if she wanted the job, then she had to do the job. There were others, naturally, who had a different view of such things, and she could always find someone to do her heavy work. In the end, she got some of those guys to fix many of her radios, too.

On the other hand, I have seen Chris butt against the ol' glass ceiling and be unable to progress further in a company's echelon simply because she was not of a certain religious faith and was not male.

I am glad that I w#rk alone here at home. I only have to deal with the other people in my head.

 

I still have chores left over from the weekend.......I was sick as a dog, and am still a bit congested......but better since I took the time for a ride yesterday.........'course this werk thing keeps getting in the way!!!

game 7 tonight!!

 

I grew a garden once. The squirrels ate all my tomatoes, and the deer waited until the corn was looking pretty good, and then devoured it.

 

They are still playing hockey? Heck we haven't talked about hockey in St. Louis for a long time.

Preseason hockey starts up in a couple of weeks, doesn't it?

 

My 2 hour nap & lunch is over. Time to get back at it, whatever 'it" is.

 

Back to the future???....

 

Well looks like a wet ride home, oh well at least it's a ride.
