Just in from a rideabout to nowhere and everywhere. Got to thinking it was feeling pretty darn hot, and thought maybe I was being a puss. It's 94*, so it really was hot, especially after coming home from Michigan and 50* temps.

I wish we could split the difference, Doc. I am just not quite ready for HOT. Warm would be just fine, thank you very much!

Out to make tall grass shorter!

Michigan still looked like winter and the allergies there were ones we had here a month ago. Ohio was about 2 weeks behind, and we got to enjoy those allergies again. Here at home, the oaks and hickories are covering the world in green and making me see blurry!

Gonna have to cut grass again today. But, I'll be darned if I'll roll it or sweep it. What the heck is sweeping a lawn all about anyway!? Heck, I don't even like to sweep the sidewalk.
Lawn sweeper......

I knew that! I was being facetious again. Actually, I have one in the back yard hiding. I have so many leaves that it is useless for those, and I don't worry about clippings. I am a mulcher. Anything laying in the yard short of 2" diameter gets mulched. And yes, I am brutal on lawn mowers and blades. But, with regular maintenance, mine last longer than many others.

I just finished creating lots of dust, most of it pollen. Oak silk is everywhere!
