I entertained the thought of selling my Softail and getting a BMW not long back. Then I decided that if I were to get rid of the Softail, I wouldn't replace it at all. So, I just kept the Softail and saved myself all that thinking!
Buahahahaha.....hey Sco..t, no damage from those storms?
They had damage about 40 miles to the north of us, but nothing more than a few limbs down around here. We have been fortunate so far. Even though 'naders don't come through our locale very often, there is certainly always that chance. North St. Louis gets a lot of ugly weather.

Makes sense keeping the softail, lots cheaper, too. My kid is thinking about a Triumph. Rode one for 3 days in Cali a few weeks ago. he said it was a blast. I'm encouraging him....buahahahahaa
I have a big-assed tree that is deader than dead that I am going to have to drop real soon. These winds have been knocking some 15' limbs out of that tree. I don't need to have one of those fall on my head while i am out riding around on my mower.

I like the Triumph America. They look like fun bikes. Some of those Triumphs are just plain ugly, though!
If I ever learn to listen to Doc, I would never consider buying anything made by the British. I tried that once, and that hasn't worked out so well yet.
