Wus gettin close to 8am 'fore I got up this mornin, even beat the 5 year old grandkid to the bathroom.

 

My days off are the weekdays, most of em, anyway. Family & gf dominate the weekends. Only days I'll probably have a chance to ride next week are Tues,Wed,Thurs - argh.

 

Made me think of the shirt I'm wearing, jus took a pic...

Found this rummaging in one of my toolboxes. Thought all that stuff was gone. Ain't shiny any more, and won't be unless someone else cares. Got the number award in the mail years later, don't even remember putting it on.

You'd think we'd been wearing those clothes for several days - probably more like a couple hours, filthy place in the dry season. On roads and high foot traffic areas, the dust would be so fine waves would ripple out from your feet walking through it. When the rainy season started, woulda been just right for mud wrestling, if there'd been any girls...

 

Argh, gotta do things that ain't any fun. Take the snow tires off the daughter's car, new brake pads, and probably go over to her house with her later; at least that's just about done. Someone's gonna get a nicer house than she did. Maybe I can sneak in a few laps around the cul de sac with the little guy. And see what I can get planted in the garden, won't be planting most of the week if the weather guessers are right this time. Y'all have fun.
