There was older fellow there with a 1964 Plymouth Valiant convertible. All original and simply beautiful. 170 slant 6 auto with AC. I have been seeing it around town and it was once to talk to the gentleman.
Some cars with that engine had it almost touching the inner fender, was a misery to reach the points, fuel pump, and oil filter. Next door neighbor had a shop do something with his, and then it wouldn't start in his driveway the next day. Don't remember the details, but the engine had pinched a wire the mechanic hadn't routed right, between the engine and fender; his was real close, made me wonder if it had a bad engine mount or sumtin.

Had some of those engines in airline special purpose vehicles (long ago), were a pita to reach the distributor, fuel pump, and even the oil filter. Could put a car on a lift and reach those from underneath, but not some of those weird things on wheels.
