Kinda cool this mornin, gloomy looking, but no snow, weather guessers thought there'd be some overnight. Supposed to rain today, ain't happened yet. Glad we didn't get the "up to an inch", mndot woulda probably dumped some of that salt surplus.

Surprised I ain't stiff & sore today, moved some heavy stuf yesterday, lotsa bending and stair climbing. Maybe I'm stretching out the winter kinks. That new clothes washer is the heaviest I've ever tried to move, way heavier than the old one. Guy that delivered it said new ones won't last as long as the old one... gee, that's good to know.

Daughter instigated about an hour talk last night, first time we've talked more'n about 10 minutes in a long time. She's a get to the point kinda ******, don't waste a lot of words. Had some questions I had to think about to avoid doing foot in mouth answers...

Gf's the opposite; ask what color a car is, and it'll be something about her sister's trip to Italy, and the old shopkeeper's flower garden... and ten minutes later you can't remember the question and wonder what she's talking about. Lately I've been stoping her on the second or third word and say "one word answer!". Takes 3 or 4 tries sumtimes...

No snow yet. Looks like it might to go the south of us.
About 25 this morning and not gonna get much warmer
today. Got my sisters riding lawn mower serviced for her
yesterday so she can take it home and give me some more
room in my garage. Going to change the overhead doors so
need room to work in the garage.

I store her mower every winter. The do a oil change and check
condition of blades and replace if needed. I can be nice if I want to be.
Need bigger door so can fit my new pickup in garage when it comes in.
Sometime in June.
