Grand Daughter is 5 going on 13. I call her little Zoey Jackson with the BIG attitude!

 

The wominnz make them that way..spoil them rotten. Me, kidz father and other grandfather don't take any crap..you try to discipline the kid and the wimmin jump on you....Jeez

 

So true. She is spoiled rotten! She always says "I am telling Mom" and I say "Idon't care" shuts her up quick.

 

Almost 50* time to get the "honey do" taken care of then hit the road.

I feel grumpy.

Rain this morning just wet things, can still see soggy salt piles on the street. Long range weather guess looks like salt till May. Still cloudy, mebbe it'll rain more before it quits. Guy can always hope.

Ain't had my coffee yet, gf kept interrupting a little project I thought I'd finish before coffee, and then decided to make hers when I was gonna make mine. Kitchens just ain't big enuf for a man & woman to share, so here I am grumbling on the puter while she finishes.

 

I don't make enough to pay taxes, after mortgage and spouse support deductions. But I'm gonna get nailed at 72 when I have to make minimum required withdrawals from my 401 and ira's (retirement savings plans in the US). Using the guvment's calculator, I'd pay over 26% tax on those withdrawals if I was doing it this year. When I'm 72, might hafta use one a them tax peeps, see if he knows a way to stay outta that 26% tax on that money I gotta pull out.

Little note about taxes in this country - when Reagan was pres, I was making good money and less than 10% tax after the return and refund was all done. Wunder if that could have had anything to do with the huge deficit the country ran up those years...
