Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI

73* and sunny here in Mizzery. Definitely a blown wheel cylinder on the MG. So, I ordered 2.
Would have been a great day to drive it to the Fish Fry, but I had to take the truck instead. Not many parking spots on that church lot designed for larger trucks. I just went to the end and walked.
Estimate on Chris' Civic was $3,100, which is right at what it is worth. To "them". To us, we saw another 100,000 miles coming out of it, and it is worth much more. It was the perfect car to drive downtown every day, and to park in a garage. It was hail damaged just enough to not care much about getting doored, and such. The insurance folks haven't totaled it yet, though.

Yep. A fine example of British know-how, engineering, and manufacturing. Drive one hour, work on for 2 hours. Gotta keep my Moss Motors and Victoria British catalogs handy. Doc told me to not buy it.

Been like that since I retired. Don't mind helping folks, but getting interrupted in the middle of things sure screws up getting stuf done when I want to. Gets me outta the mood too easy.

Folks here been mowing their yards before all the snow melted. Don't know why anyone would want to mow dead brown grass that's wet... Probably be a month before I bother.
