Got to shake hands with all of the Cartwrights from Bonaza when I was 6. They were at the Pikes Peak or Bust rodeo. All the kids got to climb on the fence, and they rode by on the horse. Even Pernell Roberts was there.

 

And the shop is being transformed!

 

No. But at our local fair they have muttin bustin where a kid hangs on for dear life.

 

I am always surprised that the Animal Rights folks aren't at those kinds of events protesting and such. I think they would get hurt at a lot of rodeos. Good 'ol boys + lots of beer = bad time for chuckleheads.

 

Got a 150 mile around the backroads today. Rode one road that I knew where it started on both ends, but I had never been on. It was a really fun turny one, and I'll find my way to it again. Dodged a number rain showers while I was about.
