On line thing that tried to be everything you'd want to do, from email to buying airline tickets. Intensely annoying to use from day one, bombards you with ads and crap that gets in the way of doing anything fast. Still so clumsy it amazes me anyone wants to use it. Had a reputation for being permanently unavailable to contact once it got your credit card number; some folks cancelled their credit cards to stop the monthly fees. Just another proof of how unscrupulous people can be on the internet and how naive other folks can be to use it. Ain't as bad as it used to be, but that's not saying it's good.
Somehow they got my name, back when it was a fledgling "America Online". I got a disk in the mail saying I was selected to test out their new graphical interface program (based on Geoworks, which I thought was way better than Windows - I musta jinxed it) for free. Loaded it up, browsed in it a few minutes, said this is crap and got rid of it. I shoulda known it would be popular, I've never run with the herd.

That's right, they kept on coming, but the rest of them wanted money to use them. I taped over the hole so I could format them and use them for sumptin else.

Time to do more stupidvising. Brian is replacing brake lines on his girlfriend's car and that has been a chuckle to watch thus far. Been helping Ken with the rear wheel on his bike.
