Hey Mark that ride is sounding better and betterer. I've never run the Canadian side at least further North then Goderich. I actually spent a couple winters icebreaking in and around the Soo Locks and got some unprintable stories of desperate teachers, librarians, wood burners and black lights, and shipmates accidently jumping out of 2nd story bedroom windows nekkid. Thank God for the snow banks and da Yoopers habit of throwing blankets over the car windshields when they ship out on the iron ore frieghters. I can't say we all had a drinking problem back then. But Schnaps and beer chasers were a staple of our diet... Damnit now ya got me all excited and misty eyed ...and I'm glad to hear Sr is cool... got a picture of him an Sugar Lips somewhere...Aargh me buckos!

Cool I'll tell ya about the parts of da Edmund Fitzgerald that Gordon Lightfoot didn't sing about...talk about a story for a movie...hey The Korean neighbor lady was crying but I couldn't unnerstand what she was saying but she was hurling snowballs at Buster da Boxer. He was choking and it looked like he was choking on a furball. I had to rush him to a vet and she said the only clue was some feathers in his puke... he might have ate her parrot! She's keeping him for observation, says he might have sniffilous and chirpies and they're both canaryial diseases! I said OMG..he humped it to death? and she said "no dumbass I said canarial not venarial'!

Makes sense no wonder Buster the boxer ate it. Coastie you might want to keep an eye on Buster when he gets home that Korean lady might try to eat him.
