It was leaking oil through the case bolts oldee... hadta split em to fix it... I didn't like how someone else put it together, heads needed a little wek, should be good now, crossin my fingers.... they also had two different base gaskets on the jugs... different thickness too... dunno for what ever reason why....

Strange to have 2 difernt base gaskets then. Good fer you to do it rite!

I didnt check squish on mine. Stock heads and probably different. No coin to do the heads yet.

The gaskets sound weird. Maybe that was just what they had laying around... Kinda looking like I'll be pulling mine out, will check it over good, hope I don't have to get into it; like working engines better than the other stuff, but parts are so expensive...

Like I said there were other indications of some ones inability to put it together right, guy told me S&S did the werk but when I checked the serial number of the motor S&S told me they only machined the cases, didn't say what they machined though. The cases weren't sealed well when it was put together eeder...

Yuuup... sucked to havta tear it down but I didn't have much choice... I figured it was a powder keg waitin to go....
