Well, I give the dawg a bath. Then, the rain had quit an the grass dried out a little so I went out & cut the damn grass too.....I think I'm on the verge of a heart attack from all this exertion!!!......I better go lay down.......

Lotta of thunderboomers in the early am. Wusn't surprised to see the creek behind the house this morning, hadda real gully washer.
But when the water uncovered this stump - the green spot halfway downstream in the pic above...
Sumptin's missing...
I'd only cut up the top half of that tree trunk. Guess when the gully's walkable I gotta take a walk with the chainsaw. Sure hope it ain't stuck in a culvert somewhere. Sumbuddy downstream may be wundering how they're gonna get rid of a few hunnert pounds of cottonwood log. Bet they ain't saying nice things about it. I'll chop it up and haul it back if I can find it. Could be miles away. Mebbe in the Mississippi River. Heading down Sco's way...
