Me too. I think I got "MoldieDisease"...spent most of the day trimmin' the two stupid maple trees in the front yard. I swear the branches grew 18" so far this year. Over the sidewalk , over the driveway, over the neighbor's driveway. 8" up on a 10' stepladder, wavin' around the "HedgeHog" trimmer like a Jedi knight. Then usin' the 10' limb cutter on the ladder.....then I had to trim and cut the ^&*(# gr*ss!...Gonna be achin' tomorrow.

Take it easy day for me. Daughter dropped by for a bit after work with the little man. He got pissed cause she made him quite playing games on her phone and be sociable. It's incredible how fast he can figure out puter games now.

I've had a thing for FXRTs since I got to ride a new one when they got drive belts and rubber mount motors. That was a game changer for Harleys. If money was no issue, I'd have one a lot like this - this page has the pics.

Get one of them extendable electric pole saws, just a little chain saw on a pole, never regretted getting one. I use mine a lot. Neighbor has, too... If you can borrow someone's motor home or trailer to stand on, lot's better than a ladder, but I have used a ladder, too. Take one of those rachet tie down straps up and cinch the top to the tree, lots more stable. I hate ladders, though the heavy duty fiberglass one I got a few years ago is a big improvement over flimsy aluminum. Wunder how much longer I'll be able to move the heavy thing, rate I'm deteriorating.

These trees are only 15 -20 feet high and kinda round shape. All the branches that have to be trimmed are less than 1/2 " diameter. The old B&D hedge Hog trimmer werks good for that. Lousy trimmin' hedges, though. It'll probably take off yer little finger if ya screw up. Gotta get the hedge trimmer on the extended pole to do the back tree.
