The Fire was only bout 2 miles away , but they got it , those C-130 are stationed about 2 miles away so they usually get there before the fire Trucks .

Supposed to be 80* with a bit under 50% humidity. I woulda guessed 85-90 with 80% or more, just a few minutes out there and I feel like I soaped up inna shower and dint rinse off. Cloud passed over and it felt cool for a few minutes, sure hot in the sunlight. I need one a them French desert caps with the cloth that covers the back of yer neck. Used a paper towel held by my cap, but that's kinda itchy.

Neighbor rented a stump grinder, and I wandered over to take a look. Looked like a rotor tiller but with about a 12' blade about an inch wide, some kind of notch thing instead of teeth. Werking him hard and taking a long time to make much progress. Way smaller stump than several of mine, too. Wuddn't waste my money on it.
