Sliced up the big ash trunk, biggest diameter tree I'd cut down. That freshly sharpened blade wusn't cutting as fast towards the end...

Van's been getting an increasing loud scrape, scrape, scrape noise. Pulled the rear wheel I suspected, back side of brake disk and wheel hub had rust building up and colliding. Would put a new disk on, but can't get it off; common for em to rust on so bad here you can't bust em loose with a hammer. Tried the old trick of putting the wheel on a tad loose, hit the brakes backwards and forwards, but even that dint break the disk loose. Squirted some oil on the rust, got real quiet, so screw it, nuttin dangerous happening. Got plenty of oil. Probly rust away in anudder 5 years anyway.

87 when I finished up with the cage, damned warm for Minnysota. Mebbe I don't care for this global warming after all.

never would of thought about that loose wheel trick, we always ended up smacking it with a hammer..........do it enough times it will bust loose.
that cycle shell really came in handy, since set up, it's been nuttin; but rain.

Looks like a slow evening here. Local weather guessers say over an inch coming, starting early morning. Garden could use it. I think most rains here aren't even measurable, just drizzles. Enuf to make cages look dirty.

Good to hear the little red car made it home in one piece, even if it got a bit dirty.
