Looks like the coffee shop is closed already. Hope Al had a good ride today. Wunder if he had top down weather.
Chopped up an ash trunk laying just below the top of the hill, and damned if a half dozen cuts got away from me and rolled down into the gully. Sure glad I got a trailer for the riding mower, woulda been a hell of a workout carrying that them tree bits up to the wood pile. New blade finally went dull, gotta sharpen a couple 'fore I cut anymore.

I finally got my cycle shell.......trouble was I had to go to the freight terminal to get it, by that time it had gotten dark and after getting the wheel chock to the thickness to hold the front tire......well, tomorrow will be set up for the bike.....one more night in the shed won't matter much.

Fixin to get a nap and go back in. Something like 11 to 7..... It's raining here anyway. Between this weekend and next, I'll rack up like 36 hours of OT. Makes fer a nice check.

One a those nights, woke up way too early, no back to sleep, so p-nut and jam samwhitch, banana and a soda pop. Big storm's supposed to hit around 7am, mebbe that'll put me back to sleep. Liked rain when I lived in a tent with a buncha other guys, would drown out them people noises. And the drone of 27 mosquitoes per cubic foot...
Gotta 3 hondas and a yamy inna shed, don't seem to bother them. Sure doesn't keep em clean, though.

Mornin JW. Place i useta be employeed at had most of the overtime in summer. I put in a bunch of up to 76 hour weeks one summer, and when the OT stopped, realized I'd missed almost all of a short Minnysota summer. Really got ahead on the cash flow (that don't last long if yer married), but decided I'd never do that again, and I dint. Wus getting paychecks bigger'n I make in a month now, and that wus near 30 years ago. Shoulda bought a new FXRT...
