My body's telling me it's tired of hauling wood outta the gully, but I get a rest tomorrow - it's supposed to rain all day. Hope B's new car's top don't leak...

Ain't no mini mum in this state, drive along at 10-30 below the limit on a 2 lane if you want, plenty of folks here do.

 

At work I am a set up operator in the precision machining, Brass Division of the corp. We have to hold tolerance, to the 10ths of a thousand of an inch, on some parts we produce. I set up and run CnC controlled robotic turret machine centers. Brass has been real slow all of 2015. Thank God I have not been layed off....Yet..

While brass is slow My manager (because he likes me) has moved me to to the steel division which produces parts with way less tolerances then the brass. + or - .020 is a hay day to me ANyway, I've been assigned old Acme #41, and #42, multi spindle "bar machines". Machines probably manufactured in the 50's and 60's. And here's a quick look at an Acme. You can turn your sound on to get the full effect.


Can't wait till I can retire.
