well, the Pie-ratz won their base-a-ball game....I got the swimmin pool filter runnin and still had time ta ride down to the Double D an have coffee with Joe & Dan.

Yard werk done for the day, close to 80 and really humid. Showered & dry clothes, ain't going out there again today. Tuesday guess is 85+, that's HOT for this place.
Gotta make a grocery run, should last a couple weeks on that. Pull the back wheel on the hack, clean and lube the driveshaft and rear end, adjust the shifters, 3rd grinds and forget neutral with the engine running. Adjust the valves, they clatter more'n I think they should. Gotta get a balance gauge so I can trim the carbs; gonna need that for the Honda V4 one of these days, too. Been putting it off till the little guy got his ride home from last day of school, jus in case I run into a lot more fixin like I usually do. Gotta order sum tires for it, too, got the originals on it. Front still looks good, that Russian rubber don't crack on the sidewalls like Dunlops, but the rear's getting thin. Probably ain't gonna do that tomorrow, grudge will probably hit near 100.
Had the grudge doors open yesturday, and the pair of mallards that hang around walked right in the front and out the back. Darn things are getting like pets. Hope the thing that gets rid of the rabbits at night for me doesn't get a hankering for duck.

I had one of them swimmin pools in Phoenix, never again. 'Less I get rich enuf to hire a pool boy to take care of it. On second thought, make that a pool girl.

Night shift checkin in. My dogs do a pretty good job of decimating the rabbit population. I've learned they stay outside til they're done digesting it, the hard way. Never seen any ducks around here... probably why.

Pool iz up & runnin. Gonnataka few dayz ta clear up. Winter wuz hard onna cover this year an a lot of stuff got thru.
Usually the water iz crystal clear when I pull the cover.....Not this year.
