weather guessers was right, it's raining today. Even the tree trunks are turning green. One of the cut trunks laying on the ground has new sprouts the whole length of it, never saw that before. So green out there it looks like pics of Ireland. Mowed 2 days ago, almost grown back already.

Putting together a buy list, broke down by on line store; I'll order everthing from each store together, most of it I won't get shipping charges that way. Gonna be a hell of a visa bill next month, but already got the money in the bank to pay it off. Only thing I ever pay interest on is the house.

Breakfast sucked, got a different kinda chorizo, mixed it in with scrambled eggs, worked good with what I'd gotten before, but not this time. No more fresh bulk chorizo from that store. At least the coffee wus good. Now I wish I'd just made fresh biscuits with honey - comfort food.

Breakfast over, coffee empty... got a call from man ole guy while we were at the restaurant, his son was helping him do mulch with his pickup, shifted it into 4 wheel drive and lost everything. So I headed over with a sneaking suspicion that it was the transfer case.

Thats exactly what it was, the linkage had broke and the floor shifter was just flopping back and forth. I held it together while he shifted it into 2 wheel and that worked, got him out of a bind... at least he can get to a shop and get it fixed.

Nice to be dry again and having a cuppa. Wus doing the yard and garden thing, and Ma Nature cut loose with a gully washer. I wus in the gully...

That's kinda steep, FF. Wonder what one a them big long trailer jobs with the guy steering the back wheels would be. Amazing how many vehicles cost over a million now. A few are getting in the billion range.
