Daughter called a couple hours ago, said she wasn't hurt but thinks her car is totaled. T-boned a couple of younger ladies from out of town that were lost and distracted, ran a red light in front of her, didn't hurt them, either. They got the citation, no argument about fault. Said she wasn't going fast at impact, air bags didn't go off. That's good, they often hurt. Car's an 06, 180,000 or so, probably won't take much to total it. She might get that Lincoln MKZ she likes sooner than anticipated. Shame about her car, but I just feel relieved that she's ok.

Thanks Doc. She doesn't seem worried about the car, been looking at new ones lately, think she likes the idea of replacing it. She'll have to wait and see what insurance says first.

Moldie, good to hear your daughter is all right.Good thing the bags didn't go off, sometimes they do more damage than the accident.

Yeah, on rare occasions, they're even what kills someone. My ex had a vicious head on shortly after she left, face got scuffed up good by the bag - but I probably wouldn't be paying spouse support if the car hadn't had them. Damned air bags...

Wouldn't be my style, but can appreciate the work that went into it. One of the better looking ones with the *** dragging style, I think. Somehow, doesn't quite look like anything else I've seen, maybe it's the tank.
