Things gettin back to normal, been a bit busy lately. Had the little guy for 3 days this week, couple dinners with the daughter, and drove enuf to grind the rust off the brakes (oughta hear what disk brakes sound like when the salt's had a week or so to werk on em).
Useta hate lamb, found out it just has to be cooked right; daughter knows a Palestinian family that really knows how to do it right, now I like lamb. Is it in stores around here? No..... 'Sides, they know how to cook it, I don't.
Gf said the microwave lights went out last nite, poked the multimeter in it's innards (big capacitor in there, yes I wus careful!), gotta make a parts run today. Hadda cook water on the stove this morning for coffee, ain't done that in decades. Gotta fix the old nuke box, and keep an eye out for a new one, stick the old one in the basement for a backup. Probably the most used appliance I have. Is a tv an appliance? Mebbe second most used...
Daughter gave me a pound of coffee beans that's so good I never had anything else close. Shop does it's own roasting onna ancient roaster. It's is close to where she lives, hafta drop in sumday and see if I can afford it. Ain't likely...
Weather guessers are promising rain next week, even a thunderstorm. Be nice. When this last snow melted off, hardly any salt left, but you can find it if you look close. I'd ride on it, but with rain supposed to start tomorrow, what the hell, wait anudder couple days. Got sum new parts to put onna bike anyway. After I make a run to the recycling center, did a bit of spring cleaning, outta house and shed and into grudge, and now gotta clear the stuf outta the grudge so I got room to move the bikes around agin. Where's all that junk come from?
