Winter sucks, especially in my old age, but gotta admit, I'll take winter over some warm places. My brother would say the same about the warm place he spent a year in, too. Wish I had some of his pics, sandbox countries look like a misery.

When the snow melts and the mud dries (June?), I'm gonna be sore all over from the yard/garden werk. Got 3 trees in the 50' range gotta come down, too, and decided since I'm gonna hafta get serious about getting rid of all the dead wood around here, might as well clear out 10-20 smaller trees, too. That knee time sticking baby veggies in the garden is a back killer for me; if wouldn't cost so much, would sure like to have raised beds, like 3' high.

I have a patch of woods behind my yard.......on a pretty good slope......figure looking at trees is easier than maintaining a grassy hill.......

My biggest, a cottonwood 70-80' tall, was on a slope; heavy rains and high winds, over it went downhill. Nothing like cutting up several tons of wet tree and carrying it up the slope and to the street - got lucky, city said they'd pick up wood by the curb; lot of trees went down in that storm.

Tried to stay outta this thread, so ya'll wouldn't claim I was bragging about all this great riding weather down here.
