Snowing, just lightly so far. But later... Gonna be a heavy wet snow at that temp.

Those things never say how boring it was. Especially school. Was a real treat when we'd get a movie, but those were 8mm black and whites usually, color was rare, even in high school. History was memorizing hundreds of dates; who gives a sh.. when some dude used steam power for the first time. Math was a constant battle to stay awake. I still don't know what they were trying to teach in English, think I coulda taught some of those classes better. I did that staying out morning to twilight once with a buddy, wow did we get in trouble, had a bunch of the neighborhood searching for us. Dad made it painfully clear I wasn't to take all day cross country trips on a bicycle again... All the toys I had growing up would have fit in a suitcase, and none of them had batteries.

I likes tough gals. Too bad the movie sucked...

 

This is being restored in a Minneapolis train museum. Wasn't so far away, I'd volunteer a few hours, like old steam engines. Somebody needs to use a sand blaster on this thing.

 

Brit airplanes. They made some oddball looking planes, but most of 'em performed pretty good. Vulcan jet and Avro Lancaster.
