Hey putzs.... been a while Finally been able to get the bike out. Man, did I need it. Heard there a buncha wrecks around here though, with 2 fatalities Rode behind a guy who's gonna be in one soon if he don't straighten up. Brand new bike, and he was hugging that yellow line. Even around blind turns. That'll last til the first time he comes across a big truck, or ricers out playing GTA on the public roads.


Leaving the garage door open. I do it all the time. Out here, noone messes with your stuff, and everyone has guns. Not much in the way of crime.

I wish I could say that but your asking to get your stuff in the garage snatched or an open door to a home invasion robbery.

 

Somebody comes down my driveway, my neighbors are gonna be lookin. I have a loaded gun close by at all times in doors. Not gonna say it won't happen. Criminals are getting brazen. Just saying, there's easier targets, and they know it.

Funny how that is in places where most honest folk have guns. Most of my Dad's generation and older family were farmers, and I grew up knowing guns were usually loaded and kids touched one only if they liked pain. Don't think my grandparent's farmhouse even had door locks. I know the outhouse didn't...

 

Woulda been a nice riding day, had other things to do. No particularly nice days in the 10 day forecast, but if we get the rain (cars still leaving tracks on a lot of the roads), hopefully I'll be ready for the next nice one. Nice days in March are rare here.

 

My dog has a pretty loud alarm bark. Any criminal that ignores it must be serious about his profession so will get what he deserves. Uncle Sam took me under his wing when I was just eighteen. Lotta rounds downrange since then! LOL. I hope the actual chance of it happening really is less then a lightning strike but it sure seems like things are getting much worse...
