Don't like freezing my fingers digging it outta the snow and scraping the ice off... Can't ride em in the winter anyway. Sure would like an enclosed trailer to haul a couple of em outta the salt belt. Then I'd need sumptin with an engine and transmission that could pull it. Argh, pension won't cover that, hate to spend investments on depreciating assets...

Which bike to get runnin first, hack, glide, daughter's Honda... so many decisions. Battree in the 1200 is first step, hook it up and ride away. Rest will need some time on the jack. Gotta set up the tire changer, too, 4 tire changes and a tube replacement to do. Hope I don't spend more time wrenching than riding this year. Lessee, got 2 starters, 8 carbs, 1 alternator, buncha wiring on 3 bikes, 2 clutches, 1 transmission, 1 stator, 1 fork rebuild/mod, set of engine mounts, bit a welding, and a lotta painting to do on these old bikes, besides the wheels. Ain't gonna be bored. If I wus gonna make a keeper out of it, I'd do a bunch of mods to the Ural, but decided I'd like a hack enough to spend some money for a better rig; watching Craig's List for either a newer 750 Ural with disk brakes, or a car I could hang on the older sporty (just a sidecar cost than my old Ural rig). Older sporty would easily outdo any Ural, 'cept off road; ain't worried about that. Why did I ever buy a house with such a small garage...
I think I need a nap after reading all of that!! Can a man put a tub on a 1200? That would be cool!
