Mornin, finally on puter, gf watching Sunday Morning, so I guess it's Sunday. Nice & sunny out. And single digit temp. Frozelandia....
Just strips the thin locknut, but there's plenty of thread and that's on my to do list, get a thicker nut that might have a chance of pulling without stripping it. I sure hope all the stuck is in the swingarm bushings and not the case. Even though it had a new motor and transmission put in it in 2005, I guess that pivot bolt might have been installed at the factory in 89. Never seen a factory install, Harley or otherwise, that had any lube on the bolts or shaft. Dumbnuts...
If the swingarm pivot bolt is like mine it may have a nut on both sides on the threaded ends, can you remove them, put a spacer on onr end, then the nut, and then tighten it down with an impact or breaker bar to break it loose by drawing it out with the torque from the impact?

Darned daughter. SIL used to bring over big bags of venison sticks, sure were good. Probably won't see that any more when he's an ex.
