Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI
Too bad when the mind wants to but the body can't. I'm sure you earned a few years off. Enjoy!
Yup. Pick it up Saturday! 2000 civic 5 speed with 130k for $2900 its over bluebook but they all are around here. Found a grandma car. Looking forward to taking a break from the bike but I need to finish testing the Baker comp first.
Glad you found what you wanted. Good luck with it.
Well, that's the important thing. Those things are pretty trouble free, and not that bad to work on if ya do have to.

Management let the shops throw a nice retirement party for guys, retirees came in, wives and family, quite the production sometimes. Then the head count for mechanics went from around 6000 to a few hundred - for the whole country - and it wasn't much of a retirement party, even though three of us went on the same day (almost 15% of the shop by then). By then I didn't care anymore, just wanted out. Did get a plaque, might even still be in a closet... Haven't missed the place at all. Most of it's gone now anyway.

Do you fit in that thing? Gf has an Accord, pure misery for me to drive very long. Doubt I'd ever buy a car again, want nuttin but trucks if I outlive the van. Way more comfortable.
Not really but right now I need gas milage, reliability and low upfront cost. 80 miles a day. Like to move closer to work.
