Good morning Pozers. 4 foot snowdrifts around the driveway from last week but we are in a warmup. It should get above freezing on Saturday. High of 18 today in the Motor City. Mike I hope you guys have a beautiful ride through the mountains. How far south did you go to get to temps in the 70s, Cuba? Ken Gail looks good surrounded by the cards, a lot of good wishes for her for sure! The durn snow now has a coating of icy crust. It is also past the pretty stage according to SugarLips. It looks about the same off my patio as off your deck behind Gail. Mike says it'll take about 6 hours to get to your place. It'll be great to hit some curvy roads.

 

No clouds to hold the heat in. Drop from -18 when I got up to-24 now.

 

Hi Doc. I heard an interesting story from a Coastie chopper pilot about our new choppers. It seems a cross wind blew one slightly sideways and it clipped the top of a telephone pole with the new Kevlar? rotors blades and made pine pancake sections. They sent the rotors out to be analyzed and he said they were virtually undamaged! They are still at Selfridge and a lot of folks don't know that was the home of Eddie Rickenbackers squadron! What a history we have there. I actually got to work there many times during my Ma Bell career.
