I like the longer rides so I do like the wimpshields and comfort of the bigger bikes. Mind you most of the roads in this area are flat and straight.

I like 'em both, but I aint a fairing guy. I like the wind and the crap that comes up off the road to hit me!!

It is a 3 hour ride just to go to visit my Dad. So don't mind sitting back and listening to the tunes and enjoying the ride. When me and the Missus go on a bike ride it is usually 2-3-4000 miles.

Mike, I have a Harley wind shield for my 2002 that I put on once. I can't even remember if I need to have it cut down or not. I may have to revisit that this spring. If I can go to KR's this year, (vacation time pending) I will ride the Sporty. Once I get there the wind shield would have to come off, then reinstall for the trip home.
