I really like the Street Glides. Just hate those shark nosed Road Glides!

 

I like the longer rides so I do like the wimpshields and comfort of the bigger bikes. Mind you most of the roads in this area are flat and straight.

 

I like 'em both, but I aint a fairing guy. I like the wind and the crap that comes up off the road to hit me!!

 

 

You know what they say? Once an Ultra, always an Ultra!! Or is it, once you go Ultra, you'll never go back??

It is a 3 hour ride just to go to visit my Dad. So don't mind sitting back and listening to the tunes and enjoying the ride. When me and the Missus go on a bike ride it is usually 2-3-4000 miles.

 

Mama likes the Ultra because she can sleep on the back, without worrying about falling off

 

Mike, I have a Harley wind shield for my 2002 that I put on once. I can't even remember if I need to have it cut down or not. I may have to revisit that this spring. If I can go to KR's this year, (vacation time pending) I will ride the Sporty. Once I get there the wind shield would have to come off, then reinstall for the trip home.

 

I can't wait to retire!!
