Good excuse to stay home. I'd never go out when the roads are slick, done pretty well avoiding that this year. Last year... picking up the grandkid or taking someone to the airport put me out in every major storm we had that winter, uncanny how folks scheduled **** in the worst of it. Probably why my van started dissolving last year, too.

Something I just don't understand - when I've had to go out in it, roads are clogged with creeping cars and store parking lots are full; it's like peeps here say, Snow! Lets go shopping!

Mebbe that's why I feel grumpy this mornin, ain't hadda coffee yet. Gf's here, gets in the way so much sometimes I just give up.

One of the few good things about way below freezing weather, don't hafta worry about ice, 'cept if it gets cold enough to freeze salt water, got puddles of that this year.

Just got the new an old friend passed away from cancer. CSM. Steele, 55yrs old. Did 30years and retired at 48. Heaven's added another to it's ranks.
