Most folks do, never saw people just leave them out there so long before, like 4 new dogs that moved in the neighborhood last summer. Mild winter so far, we get any of that 35 below stuff again, those dogs will hurt, ain't the kind of dogs that can take that.

Didn't want to in the first place. Was a two year Grand Prix, GM company car with every option, ex found it and really wanted it. I was trying to patch up a busted marriage, but all I did was get her a nice car to leave with a couple weeks later... Only car I bought an extended warranty on, sure made out on that one, she didn't have it long and the motor hadda come out for something. Shortly after that she hit a Town Car at 55 that crossed the center line. End of Pontiac. Was hard to believe they all walked away from that wreck without more than a few scratches from flying glass, car did good at the end. Then she got most of the warranty money refunded 'cause it was paid for 5 years and she only had it about 6 months. Kinda felt like that was my money... I'd never buy a turbo for myself. Wasn't a whole lot faster than my heavier Bonneville with the same 3.8 but no turbo.

Seems to depend on the vehicle lately, still some that get holes in 5 years, but seeing a lot of 10 year olds now that aren't rusting out yet. Bodies ain't the problem anyway, suspensions start tearing loose and that ends them. My 94 Bonneville was rusting under the doors, figured I had several years left, but then a couple years ago the sub frame bolt on the left side tore right out of the body, get a thump on bumps and turns when the body would lift a bit and slam down. I've never seen them salt as heavy as the last couple years, don't know why, but suspect it's gonna cut years off the cars' life. I've driven places with plenty of snow and no salt, just plows, and didn't think it was such a big deal. Modern snow tires even give surprisingly good traction on ice, which we don't get much of up here anyway. Except when it gets way below zero and all the friggin salt water freezes...

Mornin Putzs Well, made it to work, but was a hell of a ride. In the 30s and rain mixing with all this global warming makes for slick roads. After spinning 360 in the dodge, and missing a telephone pole by a couple inches, I ended up in a ditch. Took me about 10 minutes, but I got her out. Figured I might as well finish it and come on in at that point. Waiting to see what it's like tonight when I get off and it drops down into the 20s.

Naw... consider myself blessed on that one. Looked back at the telephone pole and fence post sitting a couple inches from the side of the bed when it all came to a halt. Was still scared I'd hit em while rocking back and forth to get out.. Al Gore's from Tn, I should call him next time and have him help me out.
