Life still exists on the west banks of the Mississippi, if anyone really gives a rat's ***. Only worthwhile news I have is that I sent my retirement papers in yesterday and will start drawing my pension in April. Other than that, I got nothing but cold and snow.

Still there, but they didn't leave it outside yesterday. If they didn't know their neighbors ain't fond of that dog, they know now. Cop spent several minutes discussing the matter... 
I've read some states have laws that in cold weather dogs are supposed to have some kind of shelter, not just tied outside. MN law mentions temp for shelter, not about leaving them outside. Lot of little dogs woulda died in the over two hours at near -10 this dog was out there. Owners probably would have...

I think the farthest north year round occupied place in North America is in the U.S. Bet most folks would say Canada. Lot of Canadians live south of me. Not far enough south I'd call em lucky, though.
