Mornin.
I can retire in another year with a full pension but the benefits package here is really good.
When ya get older is when ya need it.
I'll hang on till 65, I like my job...I like getting a 6 week paid vacation too.

 

5 more years I'll be 57.......I'll hang up the truck keys and bag groceries til 62........then enjoy a 600 dollar a month medical insurance premium...should still clear 4k a month......x 12 aint to bad for sitting on your ***.
But until then I need to gear up, freight needs delivered,later.

 

Thermoset is working backwards this morn. Was -21 when I got now -27. Going to be a struggle to get above zero today. Only made it to -2 yesterday.

 

Morning. I gots a long way to go before I retire. Like 20 years.

 

Mornin Mikeee...Rocket....Yep...Liking yer job means a lot. Liked mine too, for a lotta years. Think I just burned myself out. Them constant 12-16 hour dayz have a way of knockin the love outta ya.
Couple that with the 24/7 emergency callouts...... for what amounts to complete stupidity of people who are supposed to be in charge of back-up emergency power generation equipment......and marine customers that think the entire world revolves around their operation.....and by the time I got near retirement age, the constant stress and pressures had taken their toll.
I'm going on 9 years retired...... and I ain't goin back to wurk for any reason. If I get bored with what I'm doin, I'll just whittle a wood bill an go outinna yard an peck **** with the chickens!!!!

 

7:30 that dog woke me up again. Less than 4 hours sleep. I kept the drag pipes that came with my 1200...

Nature's gettin back in balance, supposed to make it to 10 today. Ain't supposed to be colder down here! Got a long ways to go, though, still -8.
