Morning Tick. Not all a bad thing! I can get caught up on some other things that I have been putting off.

 

And one of the reasons (of which there are a couple) that I am laid off is that the bureaucrats are holding up a new (to us) building. Apparently there are traces of asbestos that has to be removed before we can renovate.

Already been out. Hadda run over to the neighbours before he went to work. Usually just run over in what I am wearing. Not this morning! Coat, hat and boots were in order!

Sometimes I wonder if all this crap they replaced asbestos with isn't as bad or worse than what they had!!!

 

Yeah. Some of the stuff that I have exposed myself to over the years..... Worked with isocyanates for years, MEK, Naptha....all kinds of chemicals in the paint shop. Welded for a couple of years breathing in them fumes..... I should be dead according to the rules makers.

 

yep...same here. All the asbestos brake dust, and in the old gaskets and heat wrap.
They never have been able to make a decent gasket since they stopped using that stuff.

 

There are just too many rule makers, because there are too many idiots our there with NO common sense!
