I just hope the joint I wurk at stays open that long. Anymore there is no job security. No ones job is safe.

You got that right no ones job is safe, and now a days there are no more of those good high paying jobs left. Every company wants to hire "contract workers" that they pay just above minimum wage, with no holidays, or benefits.
The plant that I worked at (making Crown Vics, Grand Marquees, and Lincoln Town cars closed it's doors about 3 years ago ( a couple of years after I retired).

Not a problem. It is only short term and I have that thing outta town that I can concentrate on now. Won't have to drive back and forth so often. OH and the guberment still keeps sending us a cheque every month too.

Mornin to all that made it through the nite. -20.7, wind chill -21. High of +6 for the day. Only made it up to -2 yesterday.
