Don't know if I will go outside today or not. Still -18 with wind chill of -38. Not going to make it above zero today. Got enough bread, milk and tp to survive.

Speaking of brutal weather, we had a somewhat weather-related tragedy last week.

Two old guys decided to go ice fishing. Keep in mind, it's been in the 50's for better than a week, and broke 60 a time or two. Hasn't been below freezing overnight for several days. Open water near shore, ice so thin it was transparent. A passerby saw them flopping around where they broke through the ice, called 911. By the time the sheriff's rescue got them out and to the hospital, both died.

Sorry for their families, but ya gotta shake your head. Beyond foolish.

Yep, happens every year. You'd think people would have more sense.

Not sure how you guys do it with all that snow. I went riding yesterday. I'd like to say I thought of ya'll, but I just mellowed out and didn't think about anything.

A blonde wanted to go ice fishing, so after getting all of the right tools, she headed toward the nearest frozen lake. After getting comfy on her stool she started to cut a circular hole in the ice. Then from the heavens a voice boomed, ''THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE.'' Startled, the blonde moved further down the ice, poured a thermos of hot chocolate and started to cut yet another hole in the ice. The voice boomed, ''THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE.'' This time quite scared, the blonde moved to the far end of the ice. Then she started another hole and once again the voice said, ''THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE.'' The very scared blonde raised her head and said, ''Is that you, Lord?'' The voice answered, ''NO. IT IS THE MANAGER OF THE ICE RINK.''

Up to -4. The big question for today is... do I really want to go to the store after lunch with a -26 windchill?
