I'm even getting dirt flushed out of the floor drain when it overflows, definitely a rust through somewhere, hope it's near the drain, will find out. Snake is hanging up on something just below the drain, suspect it's catching the rusted edges of the rust out. Been looking at youtube videos, in one of them the guy put a screw-plug cleanout in the floor near the drain; may do that, too. Gonna be pvc for sure, no more rust in the drain. Planning on about a one foot by two foot cutout in the concrete, hope the joins from the baths and kitchen will be in there so I can cut them out and pvc them, too.
You know, you might get lucky here...there should be a p-trap under the floor drain. If you just cut out a square around the drain and dig it up, you might find a rusted through p-trap since that's where the water sits. Going to pvc for a new p-trap is a hell of a lot cheaper than digging up 20-odd feet of floor, or however far it is to the foundation wall.

Hey, doc, things are great! Other than a battery crapped out in my new golf cart. Melted a post clean off, into a puddle of molten lead. Luckily, the guy down at the local repair shop said that was simply due to a loose connection arcing and generating heat, and they can put on a new post for $25. I'm dubious, but I'll give it a shot. Cheaper than a new battery!

It's been so unusually warm here that I'm into yard work. Got a non-working gas leaf blower from my father in law, and I'm gonna see if I can get it started.
