High heating bills... my gas bill broke $100 last bill. Yeah, I know, that's not really so bad. I've upgraded the furnace, windows and insulation in this house, used to be worse when gas cost less than half of today.

I'm even getting dirt flushed out of the floor drain when it overflows, definitely a rust through somewhere, hope it's near the drain, will find out. Snake is hanging up on something just below the drain, suspect it's catching the rusted edges of the rust out. Been looking at youtube videos, in one of them the guy put a screw-plug cleanout in the floor near the drain; may do that, too. Gonna be pvc for sure, no more rust in the drain. Planning on about a one foot by two foot cutout in the concrete, hope the joins from the baths and kitchen will be in there so I can cut them out and pvc them, too.

 

The kidz don't have the money, Daddy paid for them and since he blew his retirement money on cars he'll work till he dies - that's why us smarter ones are gonna get our retirement money! My daughter got a new car - when she got a job that paid for it...

 

yep i'll be working till i die, and i'm not happy about it.

Hey Doc...just watched the 3rd period of Penguins (what a sissy name, we have the Baby Penguins up here) game. Uh...BlackHawks made it look easy at that shoot out or puck off or whatever it was in OT. Even watched a litle bit of Rugby after that...now that game is strange. Yep,,,I'm really bored.

 

I don't want to talk about the Penguin game.......All I'll say iz the dawg ran an hid under the bed......an my kid called from next door to see what all the cussin wuz about..

 

But..... But... The Preds are #1 !!

 

Now they'er sayin we's gonna git 10" of snow!! We could be stuck in the house for days!!
