Goin good...I'm inna house an it'snowin sidewayz out there!!....so I'm stayin inna house!!
Aarp iz sleepin...Petey iz sleepin...an if I had any sense, I'd be sleepin!!!!

 

A nap seems to be in order today. It's cold and dark here, snow showers are on the way. It's suppose to be 6* tonight, with a fair size snow storm suppose to hit us tomorrow night. If it does, it will be the first measureable snow we have had this winter. Roscoe is laying next to me sleepin, smart dog!!

 

I realize that my posts have always set the bar pretty high as far as thoughtfullness is concerned and being as today is Valentines day y'all are expecting something deep, something, inspired. I just read a trending news story on Facebook, that unfortunately is reporting that the police in Columbus, Ga have arrested a man for breaking in to a funeral to have sex with a corpse. This is true, you can google it. I feel compelled to remind all the posers that we should all be grateful and count our blessings that are wives and girlfriends have not actually assumed room temperature, no matter how much they just lay there. Once, in the heat of passion, Sugarlips said something that sounded racy, and shocked I looked down at her and said"what did you say?" And she smiled up at me and said in her most loving tone,"Beige, I think I'll paint the ceiling beige!" Happy Valentines Day!

 

 

Well my luck hasn't changed.... sitting at the airport now since 3:00, flight cancelled at 6... now slated for 9:15 pm...... fuuuug!

Oh, my aching back. Hate doing stuff at floor level, down on me knees. Got the kitchen draining if I don't dump a lot at once, do that it backs up in the floor drain. Floor drains like a clock hour hand moves... Can't get the snake more'n a foot into the drain, useta be able to just go right out the front of the house from it - did do that from the kitchen sink. I think the old cast iron basement floor drain has reached the end, gotta start cutting and drilling concrete. Hope it ain't real deep. A big lottery win wud be sooo nice, just donate this house to Habitat for Humanity, tell em, ya don't hafta build one, jus fix this one up.

 

I've gone home several times when I couldn't get a flight out, stayed in motels overnite a couple or three times, sleep inna airport overnight a few times, probably spent a few hunnert hours waiting for late flights... have I mentioned I hate flying on airlines? This time, I know how you feel. Sucks, hope this is your final delay.

 

Yuuup.. mee too...

Flight is in Chicago right now, will be fueling and headed back here... I am outta here one way or another!
