I've just drilled the head off a whole bunch of screws/bolts over the years, if what they were holding on would slip over them. Quicker, and you aren't going to use it again, anyway. I've been lucky so far on this tour glide, had one small screw for the lower belt guard break off in the swingarm - flush, darn it. Be drilling/easy out on that, guess if I can't save it, could drill and tap a new hole next to it. The way things are looking, I need to get it back on wheels and out of the house quick as I can, all of a sudden getting a bunch of stuff to do, and a funeral trip coming up, of course. And my daughter is moving in with me next month...

Yeah, that's kinda scary low, looks like it could snag something pretty good with that lower leading edge.

Jdub, I drop the ElectraLux every trip with Ken and Doc, but never at home. I think they must have powers that make my bike lean over too far. Or make me forget to put down the jiffy stand!

Bike looks good, Lou!

Match it on the other side, put caster wheels on the bottom, and voila, outriggers.
