Slept in till a bit after 8 this morning, dogs musta been enjoying the above (barely) freezing weather and not begging to come back in the house. Neighbors' dogs, I just don't want the responsibility for one anymore; I'm not the type to leave one out in the cold for an hour when it obviously doesn't want to, like some of the folks that live around here.
Got this link in an email this morning, pics I haven't seen before. Construction techniques sure were crude back then, but they still built some pretty awesome machinery. Something to fill the time for a few minutes...

We were getting stuff together for the trip... the OL went out to get something out of her car and fell on some ice, that was about 12:30. I had a hellavu time getting her up and sat her in the trunk of the car, she thought she broke her arm and mebbe her leg. Got an ambulance out to us, I couldn't move her, they took her to Passavant hospital, found out she shattered her elbow and top of the tibia in her leg, both on her right side, they transferred her to Presby in Pittsburgh because they weren't equipped to handle the severity of the injuries. She is sedated now and I just got home about half an hour ago. They may do surgery in the morning, they don't know yet.

mebbe with some time the swelling will ease in the affected areas, and be better, I'm no doctor but I can pray with the best of them, and I will for you both Ken.

Back from the mornings travels....Read about Gail's surgery being put back till Monday....Well, hopefully that is a blessing and will work better for her and the Doctors.

on a side note,
Well I made out like a bandit, movers dolly,3/8th's swivel ratchet,6 pc brush set ,6 pc screwdriver set,bag of zip ties, 3 pc solar light set......30 bucks.

We have a italian grinder joint , known for their huge grinders......Just finished mine off, ol is out an about she'll have hers tomorrow I'm guessing, sheppards pie tomorrow.
