I haven't even watched a hockey game this year. Don't want to root for a loosing team and definitely not going to root for those puddle jumpers.

Not yet. I probably should root for them. They are closer that Toronto. Maybe I should root for Boston? They do have the most Canadians on their team and the coach was born in the same town in the same year as me.

 

I went to a few pro hockey games when I was young, we always went on 10 cent beer night. 1 dollar, 10 beers. What A Deal!!!

The kids use to go to the Preds games in Nashville a few times a year but they haven't gone in the last couple years that I know of. The next time one of them goes, I wanna ride along!!

 

Went to a few Coyotes games in Phoenix. $15.00 games, but beer never got cheap. Couldn't afford to go to a Leafs game. Those tickets start at $120.00 or something like that!

Maybe I should root for Phoenix. They do have Mike Smith in net.

Oh I did try and weasel some free beer at the pre game bar hop. "Ah excuse me waitress. If Mike Smith was to walk into this bar, would he be offered a free beer?"

 

I hear ya. I cant remember the ticket price, I remember the beer price and this was back in the early 1970's. I had a fake ID when I was 15. 18 was the draft beer drinking age back then. You had to be 21 to buy wine and whiskey.

I have no idea what a Preds ticket would cost today. But I'd pay it if the SIL goes!!

Looks like below $50.00 for the most part for Detroit games, but that would mean that I would have to go to...GULP...Detroit!
