Hey JDub. Can you believe this? The package left Toronto twice and it took 4 days to get from Toronto to the sorting facility(which I am assuming is in London)! London is 2 1/2 hours awayfrom Toronto!!!!! Canada Post at it's finest!

Just back read a day or so. You guys led exciting lives! Glad we all sleep good now for sure. Gonna go curl up with Bustr and be thankful for a warm soft bed instead of my rack!

I can kind of understand why some folks want to be something they're impressed by, but didn't get a chance to do or be, but telling outrageous lies about it just makes them seem pathetic at best. Must have been a little hard for Williams seeing all those guys doing exiting and heroic things, and only getting to watch. Shame of it is, just being there to report on it took more than average *****, and put him in more exciting situations than most folks would have in 10 lifetimes; he didn't have to make up stories to get respect. I'll admit, I personally feel it would have been nice to have a purple heart or bronze star to show the grandkid, but a lot of folks that got those never got to show their kids or grandkids, so I'm not going to complain about it. Or claim I did...
I've also learned not to mention a few of my own exciting moments, lot of folks would think I was making it up. Same for my brother in Iraq. In his case, he has photos to substantiate some good stories; I don't, darnit.

For 2 years I watched helicopter crews as well as average GI's perform unbelievable acts of selflessness and bravery on a daily basis.....and without any fanfare, any thoughts of personal safety, or desire for glory or notoriety.
People such as him, who have done nothing but seek to put themselves in the limelight, are pathetic.
