Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI
I have a friend who worked for GM and used to get us into the Buick Open. Man what a hoot to get that close to all the players as well as the celebs they hang out with. Watching John Daly and Kid Rock was an absolute blast and a real eye opener. I've seen some of the other tour players just shake their heads when he teed off and it made a noise unlike most of the others except for Tiger and Vijay at that time. Well see ya tomorrow it's time to hit the rack.

Agreed. I've really made an effort to take lessons from really, really good teachers, and I've learned at least something from every one. I've taken lessons from four players who played on professional tours. One told me: "Clay, there is no weight shift in a golf swing".
That took some thought, lemmetellya. I finally realized that it's basically an English grammar lesson on the difference between an active verb (shift your weight) and a passive verb (your weight shifts).
You don't shift your weight, you just turn away and turn back through, and your weight shifts all by itself. Now you can relax and let it happen.

I worked the Ryder Cup at Medinah, and because of my involvement with the Illinois PGA (I was on the Rules Committee), they put me on the practice range. I carried out the bag of ***** and the sign with "Tiger Woods" on it, handed him the *****, and stuck his sign in the ground.
You know, Phil is not exactly a short hitter, and it was really interesting to watch Dustin Johnson hit it 50 yards past him. The biggest revelation was that Bubba's swing doesn't look nearly as horrible in real life as it does on tv.
