Everybody taking a "snow day" ?..

 

Not snowing here.

 

Mornin.
Ate some acid reflux foods last night...bleh.

 

Take one anyway.....it's the first Saturday of the week...


Gotta do shots.....PeptoBismol shots...

 

OMG my aching back worst snow fall, 3rd in history for one day Mary let me sleep in and woke me bundled from head to toe wants to start PRONTO on the snow and so damn cheerful. Rushing out the door to keep up with a woman who is mentally maybe 19 on a good day....

 

Happy happy joy joy Mary just happily told me there is 23 inches on the front porch which is protected on 3 sides. Buster is just looking dazed and peed on the grudge floor. Yellow ice cubes.

 

amazing how bright out it can be on a cloudy day when everything is white and reflecting. gotta do a grocery run today, or mebbe just wait a couple days till tuesday's snow is over. sumtimes i put off grocery runs for a week or two. long as i can make coffee, can stretch the rest. never get thrilled about going into big buildings with a buncha peeps in em i've never seen before.

most i've seen in 24 hours was 38 inches. on a halloween eve. no kids, not so bad. no plow for two days, snowed in, no going to werk... not so bad, either. snowblower looked like a submarine periscope peeking outta the snow, and that was even when i blew it 3 or 4 times during the storm, took 2 to 3 passes to get it off, few hours later, do it again.

ice cubes on the grudge floor are better than puddles. if the van is dripping salt water when i get home, i leave it in the drive for a spell to drip off. mosta the time, i sweep the filth off the floor before i pull it in, too. otherwise, it gets so much salt in there the melt just spreads all over, much prefer the occasional ice patch instead of salt soup under the bikes - so far i've managed to keep the salt away from them. winter's a pita up here. over there. down yonder. anywhere it snows...
